Shipping
Orders placed by 7PM EST, for “in stock” items, will be shipped the same day. CEL has
relationships with all major carriers in order to maximize service levels. CEL’s preferred
carrier is Federal Express, however, customers have the option to use their own account
number with their preferred carrier. Service levels offered include:
- Ground
- Overnight Early AM
- Overnight Standard
- Two Day
- Three Day
- Common Carrier
CEL ships all packages “FOB (freight on board) shipper.” At the time a package leaves
CEL’s loading dock, the title and ownership of that package transfer to the customer.
If a package is damaged in transit:
- Shipped on CEL’s account; notify CEL immediately. Save all packaging, both
inside and out, in case an inspection is necessary. CEL will process the freight claim.
- Shipped on customer’s freight account or carrier, or if customer arranged shipping;
customer is required to process the claim with their own carrier.
Freight Charges
Freight charges quoted are an estimate based upon the average DIM weight and cost per
piece for the service requested (i.e. overnight, standard). Actual weight may vary.
If multiple pieces are ordered, or items are bulked packed, shipping charges will vary from
the amount shown in the order total (usually multiple piece orders are less).
CEL reserves the right to charge the actual shipping cost of the order.
