Guidelines for Returns
Please call Computer Exchange, LTD. (CEL) (1-800-883-0800) before returning any DOA item.
Often times, issues can be resolved with a quick telephone call.
All items returned as good part returns or DOA must be in unused, restockable, or “as failed”
condition and in original packages, complete with original packing materials, manuals, blank
warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. For core returns, cores
must be packaged properly to avoid any shipping damage. CEL will not issue credit for any
items damaged by shipping.
All returned items must have a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. For good
part returns and DOAs, the RMA number can be obtained by speaking with, emailing, or instant
messaging your CEL sales representative. The RMA number for core returns can be found on the
bottom of the packing slip of the original shipment. The RMA number must be written on the
outside of the return packages and on the airbill. It would also be helpful if a copy of
the original invoice or packing slip was included. Once an RMA number has been issued, it
will remain open for 30 days. Cores are due back within 30 days from the date of invoice
of the good part shipped.
CEL will not accept or process any returns, or issue any credits without an RMA number written
on the outside of the return packaging. A call tag will be required for any item missing an
RMA number, or it will be disposed of ten days after notification.
Insure all good part returns for their full value. Lost or damaged parts cannot be exchanged.
Return packages must be sent directly to CEL’s shipping address. CEL will not accept any C.O.D.
shipments. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Refunds will be issued by the same payment method as the original purchase.
Non-defective/changed mind items may be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase,
excluding special order items, which may be non-returnable. Good returns are subject to a 20%
or $20 restock fee, which ever is greater.
If product is returned against an expired RMA the return will be reviewed to determine
if the product will be accepted for credit. If the return is not accepted, notification
will be sent and a call tag will be required for return of the product, or the product
will be disposed of by CEL ten days after notification.
Replacement items will be invoiced at the original selling price. Credits will be issued
when CEL receives and tests the DOA merchandise. Any items returned as defective but found
to be in working condition will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus the associated
shipping charges.
WARNING: Warranty is null and void on any part
returned with a broken warranty seal.
